While they are public (and thus can be accessed by way of clojure.lang), Clojure's classloader is implemented in a way such that Clojure files such as core.clj end up being loaded, even when an end-user is not interested in the Clojure environment itself. The Java classes could also use some documentation!</p> <p>I'd be happy to work on a patch but this change may require some restructuring of the build process, so it'd be good to get community sign-off first.</p> CLJ-1015
