According to the edn spec '%' is a valid symbol. The clojurescript reader does not currently allow this.

ClojureScript:cljs.user> (r/read-string "%")
"Error evaluating:" (r/read-string "%") :as "cljs.reader.read_string.call(null,\"%\")"
org.mozilla.javascript.JavaScriptException: Error: Reader for % not implemented yet

Note that both the Clojure reader as well as the new clojure.edn reader both read "%" as a symbol without problems.
